A: Paragraph 3.3.1.b refers to the price adjustment method (discount or markup over cost) to be used for the specific manufacturer.

Q: One question we were curious about is the amount of school districts within the 12 states there are for this contract and also the amount of total schools from all 12 states that have access to purchasing

A: We don’t have this information.

There is a discount only but no items listed at this time.

A: Yes

Q: Is this contract appropriate for Asset Management Software, specifically designed for school districts?

The following is an example but the list of exceptions is not limited to just my example: If our requirements is that you supply us with a manufacturer’s pricelist, and you don’t and you state you won’t until after the award, your bid will be rejected.

ESDs provide a range of services to or on behalf of school districts and educational organizations.
ESDs, in cooperation with school districts, have explicit authority to establish joint purchasing programs.

DigitalEdge procures competitive bids for technology equipment in accordance with Washington laws that govern public contracts for school districts.

If the cost to purchase equipment may exceed $75,000, school districts must prepare plans and specifications and make them available to interested vendors.
A school district, can however, avoid the costs associated with procuring its own competitive bid if the district signs an interlocal agreement with an ESD.

Question:Regarding pages 6-8 of the DigitalEdge ITB: How does DigitalEdge make products available to the school districts?

Question:Is the DigitalEdge interested in getting a discount structure for the rest of our product line in addition to what we bid?

Question:For vendors with discount schedules, who will win if for the same item, Vendor A starts at $1.00 and ends at $10.00, and Vendor B starts at $1.50 and ends at $9.00 for the same quantity breaks and same item?

Answer:In the event that a Manufacturer does not supply the dealer with a nationally published pricelist, the dealer should use the pricelist supplied by the manufacturer that is in effect September 1,2012.

Awarded Bidders shall use the same type of manufacturer pricelist to discount their products throughout the term of the Contract.
